Christmas Menu - 2 Course £18, 3 Course £22
STARTER
Crayfish & avocado cocktail with baby gem, herb creme fraiche and panzanella, homemade asparagus soup, creme fraiche and rustic baguett, chicken and wild mushroom pate on plum tomato salad dressed with classic vinaigrett, served with crostini and cumberland sause.
MAINS
Roast rib of beef or turkey breast served with carrot and swede puree, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, pig in blanket, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravey. OR
Nut roast served with carrot and swede puree, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, pig in blanket, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and red pepper coulis. OR
Scottish salmon supreme - wrapped in smoked salmon and baked, served with French beans, roasted baby potatoes and white wine and drill sause.
DESSERTS
Chocolate brownie served warm with vanilla pod ice-cream. OR New York style baked cheesecake seved with warm stewed cinnamon scented plums OR Christmas pudding with brandy sause. OR Coffee and Chrismas pies
